Application Basics
Vulcan Bolt Heaters are designed to produce a
high concentration of heat in order to expand bolts efficiently. These units
incorporate special cartridge heaters designed at several industry standard
diameters.
They are intended for operation within an
expansion bolt of the appropriate size. Do not allow the heated portion of the
heater to operate in air or an air pocket. Do not operate the heater in air.
In all cases, due to normal high temperature
attainable on any metal sheathed heater, avoid contact with combustible surface
or materials.
