Vulcan Preweld Heaters are specially designed units that utilize our Tubular Heater construction. They are designed as clamp-on assemblies to provide localized preheating for welding processes. Rugged mounting brackets are provided for placement of the heater over studs on the parent metal.

• Rugged alloy sheath fully annealed to facilitate bending to slightly curved surfaces
• Heater is flattened on one side to increase contact surface
• Premium grade magnesium oxide insulation imbeds the resistance wire coil for optimum heat transfer
• High-temperature nickel chromium resistance wire
• Termination is designed to fit 3 wire ground type twist lock plug
