Our precision temperature sensors and calibration services are applied into critical high temperature solar cell manufacturing and semiconductor wafer processes.

High-purity silicon production demands extremely accurate and reliable temperature sensing performance. Vulcan sensor products are configured to ensure optimum high temperature operation, stability, and reliability in the production of mono-crystalline, poly-crystalline, and other critical silicon process technologies.

From crystal ingot growth to wafer furnaces through final test, we offer an extensive selection of industry recognized temperature sensor configurations as well as custom engineered constructions. Our thermocouples are in service worldwide in furnaces used in processes such as Diffusion, Deposition, Rapid Thermal, Oxidation, and Annealing.
