Vulcan Flex Circuit Corporation acquires XRl-1 Real-Time X-ray Inspection System

Hudson, New Hampshire, November 28, 2007 - Hudson, New Hampshire, Vulcan Flex Circuit Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vulcan Electric Company has acquired and put into service an XRI-1 Real-Time X-ray Inspection System. The XRI-1 will allow Vulcan to view, measure and verify in real time the inner layer registration of multilayered rigid-flex circuit boards. Additionally, the equipment will be used to inspect assembly solder joints through connector shells and potting compounds. This technology is a part of Vulcan's continuous technology improvement program and will support the diverse requirements of the company's broad customer base.
